Hi
My name is Pauline Boyle and I am the owner of Sprouting Pea.
I am a Microbiologist by trade and have been in medical diagnostics for many years.
In 2019 I was made redundant, which gave me time to travel to India and start a more spiritual journey, completing my Reiki training.
While there I discovered a healthier way to eat, I have a lactose intolerance and a love of chocolate, not the best combination. Healthy, refined sugar free, dairy free and gluten free desserts became my new obsession.
On returning home, I was disappointed to find it difficult to get good quality dairy free chocolate and desserts that were not packed full of refined sugar, so I started making my own.
And Sprouting Pea was born…….
All our treats are made with natural sugars, maple syrup, agave syrup and coconut sugar.
Organic superfood ingredients, like Spirulina, flax seeds, chia seeds, Peruvian cacao powder, cacao butter and coconut oil make our desserts nutritious and health promoting for all.
Where possible we offer gluten free.
We also have a range of sports nutritionist approved pre and post workout snacks.
For those living or trying a raw food diet, we have a few sweet tarts to get your taste buds working overtime.
We make all of our treats by hand with love.
